\nThe coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe a lie, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth , but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

\nSome of us have exhausted ourselves trying to distribute factual information and convince relatives and friends of the truth, to no avail. We ought rather to first teach them to love the truth; only then will God lift His curse from them; only then will they be receptive to the truth<\/em>.
\n(In speaking of possessing truth, we say this with humility, vigilant against our own pride, and cognizant that we ourselves still have much to learn, and are as potentially fallible as any other human being).<\/p>\n
