A cominciare dall\u2019idea medieval, che \u00e8 poi l\u2019idea classica or greca, di Dio come <i>esse quo maius cogitari nequit<\/i> o essere perfettissimo o assoluto, fino al pi\u00f9 elevato concetto Cristiano di Dio come assoluto spirit che s\u2019incarna nell\u2019uomo e lo riscatta dalle sue tendenze naturali, la divinit\u00e0 \u00e8 presente in tutti i suoi apetti essenziali dentro alla intelligenze e al cuore d\u2019ogni uomo, come incrollabile realit\u00e0, che resiste ad ogni dubbio e negazione, e perci\u00f2 mai non fallisce, e regge tutte le cose e insieme il pensiero e la volont\u00e0 degli uomini, quasi presupposto di ogni essere che esista e di ogni evento che accada.<br \/>\n~ <strong>Giovanni Gentile<\/strong>, <cite>Introduction to Philosophy<\/cite>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The sane man believes in God and in the freedom of his spirit. Even without realizing it, he presupposes them both, in his every act and in his every word.
