As an adjunct to the intellectual work on Gornahoor, I will be available the week of October 24, 2011 at South Beach, Miami, at a location to be determined. Anyone seriously interested should make an effort to attend, perhaps for an hour, a day, or longer. We will be able to discuss the material here presented in more detail. We will also teach some spiritual exercises to develop awareness and a strong will. In the future, we are planning two such events per year; one in the Western Hemisphere, the other in Europe. Tentatively, we are planning on Costa Rica in February and Sicily or Malta some time in the summer of 2012.

The next section of Sintesi to be translated will be the chapter on the race of the soul and of the spirit. This is Evola’s original contribution to the topic and we hope to build on it. After that, we don’t think it makes much sense to continue to provide this for 35 people in the entire world who have subscribed to the translation. It will be better to publish it in a hard copy. Going forward, we hope to build on the first generation of traditional thinkers, not to be bogged down by them, nor to blindly repeat them, but rather to fill in the gaps and apply them to a new set of circumstances. For example, Guenon stated that metaphysical and theological language correspond to each other, but without offering much more detail. Cologero is working on a series of posts to do just that, to wit, to take a Western theological book, strip it of its sentimental and specific elements, and thereby transpose it to a metaphysical doctrine. We think that something like this is necessary, to break up the stagnation in this field and overcome the strife that arises from hardened positions that perpetuate the demon of dialectices.

We know of someone who is diagramming visually all the geometric models from Guenon’s Symbolism of the Cross. Another interesting project could be undertaken by an expert in Modal Logic to analyze the metaphysics in Guenon’s Multiple Stats of Being. Perhaps someone could update the Hyperborean thesis with more recent scientific data. There is no shortage of topics.
